Marc Zao-Sanders' annual study, third year running, built on 12,000+ real AI use cases. Therapy and companionship is number one again (11% of all cases, double last year), and autonomous agent operations just entered the top 10. I reach for this when I want to know what people actually do with AI, not what vendors say they do.
Voice dictation that keeps up with how you actually talk, on Mac, Windows, and phones. I care about it for one reason: talking to AI tools is usually faster than typing to them, and this makes that workflow real. Try it on your longest emails and prompts first.
Open-source alternative to Ahrefs and Semrush: keyword research, backlinks, rank tracking, and site audits, billed per use with your own DataForSEO key. It ships an MCP server too, so an agent can do the tedious first pass for you. Young product, expect rough edges.
One context file about you, your role, and how you work that every connected agent reads over MCP, so you stop re-explaining yourself to each new tool. Simple idea, and simple is exactly why it might stick. Context is most of what makes an agent useful.
